This suite is named after the poet who was a regular guest at Jeake’s House when it was the property of Conrad Aiken, the American novelist and poet who wrote criticism for The New Yorker under the pseudonym of Samuel Jeake, Jr. The king-sized antique four-poster bed is decorated and draped in English Toile. There are a roll top bath and a walk in shower, a comfortable sitting area, hospitality tray, and television. You can be assured of peace and quiet here, with a view over Mermaid Street and the wonderful juxtaposition of the rooftops
Jeake’s House is a beautifully restored period property offering luxury bed and breakfast accommodation on the iconic Mermaid Street — one of the most photographed streets in England.
