Conrad Aiken Four Poster Suite
This room can be occupied by two, three or four people.
This Suite is named after the American novelist and poet who used it as his study between the two world wars, at a time when he was writing criticism for The New Yorker under the pseudonym of Samuel Jeake, Jr.
The Suite is on the top floor – and we ought to mention the fact that our stairs are somewhat medieval. The large bay window has a window seat and armchairs, a hospitality tray and television. The views are quite stunning, and it’s a wonderful place in which to relax and take a few moments to step back in time.
There is an en-suite with bath and walk in shower and an adjoining double room should you need to use it as a dressing room or for additional persons
